Bodyweight Squats with Resistance Band Around the Knees | Glute & Leg Strength Exercise

How to Perform: Place a resistance band just above your knees. Stand with your feet approximately shoulder-width apart. Keep your chest up, core engaged, and spine neutral. Push your hips back and bend your knees to lower into a squat. Maintain tension on the band by gently pushing your knees outward. Keep your knees tracking in line with your toes. Drive through your feet and squeeze your glutes as you return to standing. This exercise is great for glute strengthening, leg strength, hip stability, knee control, functional fitness, and improving squat technique. It can be incorporated into strength training, physical therapy exercises, warm-ups, or home workouts.
